We have assessed the CO2 footprint of our products.

We have assessed the CO2 footprint of our products.

In a market where eco-friendly claims are as common as the products themselves, it is a growing concern for consumers to distinguish real sustainability from greenwashing. We at Oh Sheet! believe in facts rather than words and are working with the environmental consulting company Inedit to assess our products. Together, we have conducted a thorough evaluation of the CO2 footprint of Oh Sheet! products, demonstrating our commitment to truly sustainable toilet paper.

First: Who is Inedit?

Inedit is a respected environmental consulting company known for its careful sustainability analysis. Their expertise in calculating precise environmental impacts makes them a perfect fit for the sustainability goals of Oh Sheet! By choosing a company that is also located near our manufacturer, they were able to visit the production site in person.

Goals of the Partnership:

Oh Sheet! wanted not only to validate its environmental claims but also to identify areas with potential for improvement. This partnership is a reflection of a serious commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility.

The Methodology:

The life cycle assessment conducted by Inedit evaluated every phase of the product life - from the sourcing of raw materials to manufacturing and distribution, all the way to final disposal. This comprehensive approach ensures a complete understanding of the product's environmental impacts.

Unfortunately, we are unable to make a comparison with toilet paper made in Switzerland, as other brands do not publish this information. We truly hope that life cycle assessments become the norm to transparently show how sustainable products really are.
